Then, with the dominance of the ’96 women’s basketball team, the energy of the “the Summer of Women,” and the emergence of the WNBA, it didn’t take long for basketball to steal Taurasi’s heart. “Sometimes I wonder if I made the right decision, but I think I turned out fine.”
