As a young Muslim woman, Maymi struggled to find a role model she could look up to growing up. Now, she has dedicated her life to becoming a role model for women and girls like her.
Driven by her burning desire for a future without barriers, Maymi envisions a world where equal opportunities exist for all, regardless of gender. She firmly believes that football can create positive change – and wants to be at the forefront of that movement.
With every breathtaking freestyle trick and each passionate kick of the ball, Maymi demonstrates the strength and determination it takes to overcome adversity. She understands that true progress lies in uniting and empowering women, and she is determined to make a lasting impact on and off the field.
